1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Namaa Finance (“the App”), a bilingual personal-finance tracker for recording income, expenses, budgets, goals, accounts, and financial notes.

2. Information you choose to enter

The App processes the information you enter, such as transaction descriptions and amounts, account names and balances, budget and goal details, financial notes, language and currency preferences, and backup files you choose to restore. This information is used only to provide the App’s local tracking, reporting, backup, and restore functions.

3. Local storage and no developer-operated cloud

In this version, records are stored locally in your browser’s storage on your device. The App does not create an online account, connect to bank accounts, send your financial records to a developer-operated server, use cloud synchronization, sell data, display advertising, or use analytics or tracking services.

4. Backups and exports

When you choose to export a JSON backup or CSV file, the App creates the file on your device. You choose where to save, share, or delete it. The App does not receive a copy of exported files. If you restore a backup, the selected file is read locally on your device.

5. Your choices and controls

You can edit or delete records within the App. You can export your records before moving devices or clearing browser data. You can remove App data by clearing this site’s data from your browser. Uninstalling the App may not remove all browser site data, depending on your device and browser settings. Clearing data can permanently remove local records, so export a backup first if you need to keep them.

6. Security and sensitive information

The App is designed for personal tracking, not for storing authentication secrets or payment credentials. Do not enter bank login details, passwords, PINs, recovery phrases, full card numbers, or similar credentials. This local-first version does not provide an App-managed cloud account or recovery service. Protect your device, browser profile, and any exported backup files with the security controls available to you.

7. Third-party services

The App does not embed third-party advertising, analytics, bank-connection, or cloud-processing services. The Microsoft Store, your operating system, browser, device manufacturer, GitHub Pages, and network provider may process information under their own policies when you install, host, access, or update the App; this Policy does not govern those services.

8. Children

Namaa Finance is not directed to children. Do not use the App to enter a child’s personal or financial information without appropriate authority and supervision.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the App’s data practices or features change. The revised version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. If cloud sync, analytics, bank connections, accounts, or other data-sharing features are added, this Policy will be updated before those features are made available.
