Keyshow Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026 · Keyshow by Jotech

In short: Keyshow reads your key presses only to draw them on your screen. Everything happens on your PC. Keyshow never stores what you type, never sends it anywhere, and has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.

Your key presses and clicks

Keyshow listens to the keyboard and mouse on your PC so it can draw the shortcuts you press and the clicks you make. This happens in your PC's memory while Keyshow runs.

The app in front

Keyshow checks which app is in front (its program name and window title) to choose the right shortcut captions and to pause in apps on your pause list. This information stays on your PC.

Files Keyshow keeps on your PC

You can delete these files at any time. Uninstalling Keyshow removes its settings and log.

The OBS link

If you choose to show keys in OBS, Keyshow serves the overlay at an address that works only on your own PC (127.0.0.1). It can't be reached from other devices or from the internet.

Internet and purchases

Keyshow does not send any data to Jotech or anyone else. The only online step is the Microsoft Store, which Keyshow asks whether you own Keyshow Pro and which handles the purchase. Microsoft processes that under the Microsoft Privacy Statement; Jotech receives no payment details.

Children

Keyshow does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
